Noble Counties Largest Co-Ed Fitness Center 
The Freedom Fitness Basketball League for Charity
is being held as a fun way to raise money for cancer related screenings held thru the Noble County Health Department while beating the winter blues! The names not sexy but neither is cancer so read on for additional information:
Details:
- Games will be held on Sundays starting on January 8th at 5pm.
- Each team will play 2 games per Sunday.
- Each team will be assigned a color and each member will receive a t-shirt with their name and a 
  number on it.
*Returning Team Captains and/or players: If you would like to have the same team colors and numbers
  that you had last year, please let me know ASAP. The choice of team colors is first come, first serve.

- The league will be eight weeks long with a double elemination tournament held on the 9th week.
- A team captain meeting will be held on December 27th at 6pm at Freedom Fitness.
- Teams may be co-ed or all male or female. If we have enough interest, we will even do an all womens
  league.
- We will get you on a team if you do not have one of your own.
- Each team must have a team captain. The team captain will serve as the contact person for the team.
- All t-shirt colors, sizes and names must be received no later than December 28th.
- All entry forms/waivers and fees must be received no later than the start of your first game on
  January 8th.
Awards: Prizes will be given to the winning team of the double elmination tournament.
Fees: $225 per team
*All proceeds will be given to the Noble County Health Department where they will be earmarked to 
  help make cancer screenings affordable for those in want.

Rules:
- Games will be 3-on-3 but teams can consist of 3-5 players.
- Each game will consist of a 5 minute warm-up followed by two 10 minute continous quarters with a 2
  minute break in-between. Clock stoppage will only happen during the last two minutes of each game. - Offense calls fouls.
- Blatant fouls will be called by league officials and will be the only fouls resulting in foul shots.
- Disputed calls will be handled immediately by someone appointed by league officials.
- Please remember we are here to have fun and raise money for charity. Any fights will result in the
  disqualification of the entire team with no refund of the entry fees.
- All other rules not mentioned here will be under the Ohio High Mens Basketball Rules.
- No one can participate without signing a waiver form. Waiver forms are available by contacting Rusty

- No one under the age of eighteen is permitted to play.
- Rule changes, if any, will be announced at the time of event.
- The decisions of League officials are final.

The Frozen Toes Softball Tourney is being held to honor Josie Hooks (her story is below) while raising money for the March of Dimes. It is a fun way to beat the winter blues so read on for additional information:

Details:
- Games will be held at the Noble County Fairgrounds Softball Fields on 
February 25th starting at 10am.
- Double Elimination
- Each team will be assigned or can choose a color.
- Each team member will receive a toboggan corresponding to that color.
- Teams may be co-ed, all male or female. If we have enough team entries (6) to create a an all male  
   and/or all female division, that will be taken under consideration.
- All players must sign a waiver. Waivers can be found at www.your24- 7fitnesscenter.com or by
   contacting SueAnn or Rusty.
- Any players under the age of 18 will have to have a minor release form signed by the legal parent or
   guardian.
- We will get you on a team if you do not have one of your own.
- Each team must have a team captain. The team captain will serve as the contact person for the team.
- A team captains meeting will be held on February 16th at 6pm at Freedom Fitness.
- All entry forms/waivers and fees must be received no later than February 20th.
- Concessions will be available along with a warming tent.

Awards: Prizes will be given to the winning team of the double elmination tournament.

Fees: $20 per person and it is not refundable.
*All proceeds will be given to the March of Dimes in honor of Josie Hooks, daughter of SueAnn & Dustin Hooks. Josie was born at 27 weeks weighing 1 pound and 15 ounces and was 13 inches long. After 100 LONG days in the Aultman NICU, Josie was able to come home and join the rest of her family and friends ♥ If it wasn't for the amazing Dr.'s and nurses at Aultman and the March of Dimes, we wouldn't have such a miraculous story to tell.
 Today, Josie is almost 3 years old (February 12th) and getting ready to start pre-school. She weighs 26 pounds and continues to amaze us everyday! She has taught us all so much in 3 years.

Rules:
- Games will be 5 innings except for the Championship game/s which will be seven.
- All team players must be present and ready to play by the appointed game time.
- No Grace time will be allowed. Even if the games are running behind with the exception of the  
   tourneys first game.
- Teams must help keep the playing areas clean by taking all garbage with you or putting trash in bins
   at the fields if available.
- No protests of any kind are permitted. This a charity event with umpires that are volunteering their
   time. Any team or individual may be asked to leave if unsportsmanlike conduct is displayed.
- No snow will be removed from the field. Teams must play under the weather conditions presented.
- The Tourney will not be rescheduled for any reason.
- No metal spikes.
- Eight players are required to start the game. AH's are allowed.
- Playing rules are in accordance with the U.S. Slow Pitch Softball Association, with the stipulations
   outlined in these rules.
- Height of pitch is determined by USSSA Ruls, 3-10.
- A 10 run rule after three innings will apply to all games, except for the championship game/s.
- Rule changes, if any, will be announced at the time of event.
- This is a one pitch tournament, all batters begin with a 3-2 count.
- Any pitch that is hittable will be called a strike. Strike plates will be used in all games.
- The batter is allowed one foul. The second foul is an out.
- In co-ed play: if a male player walks, the female player following has the option of walking or hitting.
   The male player gets to second base even if the female decides to bat and strikes out.
- The winner of the WINNER'S BRACKET will be the "Home Team" in the 1st game of the Championships.

Hair Raiser 5-K

As part of a Hair Raising Weekend, Freedom Fitness in conjunction with Freedom Running Club of Caldwell is hosting the Hair Raiser 5-K.  The Hair Raiser 5-K is being held to raise awareness, money and hair for the non-profit group Wigs for Kids. (For more information about Wigs for Kids, please visit their website http://wigsforkids.org)   Our goal for the weekend is $1,200 dollars in monetary donations and over one hundred inches of usable hair.
 
Hair Raiser 5-K schedule:

4 pm to 6 pm
   * kids games, music and food for the general public
   * hair stylists will be on hand to cut hair
   * race registrations will be accepted
   * race packets will be handed out

5:45 pm
   * the highest bidder will cut Rusty's hair
   * kids games will be closed
   * race registrations will be closed

6 pm
   * runners and walkers start
   * those participating with pets or strollers will start 5 minutes after

Hair Raiser 5-K race details:

   * This event is a United States Track and Field Sanctioned event. 
   * All participants will receive commemorative scissors along with other
      goodies in their race packet.
   * The top male and female placers in each age division will receive a t-
      shirt in addition to their race packet.
   * Trophies will be given to the top two overall male and female placers.
   * Age Divisions: Youth-12, 13-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 50+
   * Post race food and beverages will be available to runners.
   * A water stop will be provided at mile marker 1.5.
   * Timers will be posted at mile marker 1 and mile marker 2.
   * All participants will have to register and sign a waiver.
   * Registration fees are $15 for pre-registration and $20 for day-of
      registration.

Hair Raiser 5-K hair donation details:
  
   * All hair lengths, styles and colors will be accepted.
   * Any hair donated that is less than ten inches will be donated for oil  
      clean up efforts in the Gulf and around the world. (For more

   * Basic hair cuts will be given.  The hair stylists are donating their time
      and are not working in their shops so please do not expect perms,
      colorings or any type of hair cut that requires a large amount of time.

Mud Volleyball

As part of "A Hair Raising Weekend" Freedom Fitness in conjunction with Hill Training Formulas, LLC is hosting Mud Volleyball on October 31st.  Mud Volleyball is being held to raise awareness and  money for the non-profit group Wigs for Kids. (For more information about Wigs for Kids, please visit their website http://wigsforkids.org)   Our goal for the weekend is $1,200 dollars in monetary donations and over one hundred inches of usable hair.

Mud Volleyball details:
  * First volley at 1 pm
  * Teams can have both men and women or be only men or women.
  * There will be a minimum of 4 players per team and up to a maximum of
     6. (2 alternates)
  * You do not need a team to play.  A team will be created if we have
     enough individuals.
  * No one under the age of 13 will be permitted on the court.
  * Rally scoring will be used
  * Double elimination 
  * A washing facility will be provided.
  * All participants will have to register and sign a waiver.
  * Registration fees are $10 per person with pre-registration and $15 per
     person the day of play.
  * Food and music will be provided along with activities for the kids.
