The Farmers Olympics

The Farmers Olympics are a fun group of activities that are farm related. This event is open to men and women of all ages and farming backgrounds. (this means city folk are welcome ; )

Haybale Toss for Height
Best Farmers Tan
Stall Cleaning For Time
Milking For Time
Best Cow/Pig Caller

Awards: A trophy and prizes (and this will not just be any trophy : ) will be given to the
top male and female placer in each category. A trophy will also be given to the best overall male and female placer who participates in every event. If more than one team enters, then an overall team trophy will be given.

Fees:  $3 per event 
         $5 per person for all 6 events
         $20 per team
*All proceeds will be given to the Junior Fairboard*

Rules: 
Teams consist of 4 people. FFA Chapters and 4-H groups are encouraged to participate. 
An individual entry fee and a team entry fee will be required for anyone wishing to
have their results count for both individual and team standings.
Participants will be given three attempts in the Haybale Toss for Distance and the Haybale Toss for Height. Participants will only be given one attempt in all other events.
No one can participate without signing a waiver form.
Please remember, this is just for fun and to raise money for a good
organization.
Rule changes, if any, will be announced at the time of event.
Judges decisions are final.

The Hair Raiser 5-K

What: Freedom Fitness in conjunction with Freedom Running Club of Caldwell is hosting two fundraisers, The Hair Raiser 5-K and Mud Volleyball, on one scary weekend to raise awareness, money and hair for hair for hair donation groups that support cancer patients. All hair lengths, styles and colors will be accepted. Any hair donated that is less than ten inches will be used for oil clean up efforts in the Gulf and around the world. Our goal is $800 dollars in monetary donations and over one hundred inches of usable hair.

When: The Hair Raiser 5-K will be held on October 30th at 7pm.
Mud Volleyball will be held on October 31st starting at 1pm.

Where: The Hair Raiser 5-K will start in front of Freedom Fitness and Mud Volleyball will
be held behind Freedom Fitness.

Dodgeball

“If you can’t dodge a wrench, then you can’t dodge a ball!” Each night will consist of tournament style play for the teams with a Last Man Standing game to finish the night. There will be two age brackets: 13 plus and 13 and under. Players will follow The National Amateur Dodgeball Association rules. Teams will consist of 6-10 players with only 6 players allowed on the court during games. Teams can be all women, men or can be mixed. Be a lone wolf, bring a team or join a team when you get to the Caldwell High School gym and test your skills against people from around the area.

Volleyball (indoor)

“Pass...Set...CRUSH!!” Four teams walk on the courts at the beginning of the month but only one walks away with bragging rights. The USA Volleyball rules will be followed. Teams can be male, female or mixed with all players required to be over the age of 13. Teams will consist of 6-10 players with only 6 players allowed on the court during games. The league will be capped at 4 teams due to time constraints so sign up early.

Times: Volleyball 6:30pm Dodgeball 8:00pm                                                                                  Dates: Monday, May 10th, 17th and 24th                                                                                 Location: Caldwell High School Gymnasium 


Cost: $5 for alternates (unless you participate in Last Man Standing) 
        $10 for pre-registration per player
        $15 for day-of-registration per player
